Helen Grace Lescheid loves to tell audiences about the difference the risen
Lord Jesus Christ has made in her own life and in the lives of others. She
has spoken in many churches and Christian Women’s Clubs across Canada and
the U.S.A.-- at Christmas events, family reunions, and other functions.
Twice she has been a guest on the Canadian national television program 100
Huntley Street. Teaching a weekly women’s Bible study gives her great joy.
Helen has published hundreds of articles in magazines such as Reader’s
Digest, Guideposts, Lydia (Germany) and many other
magazines. Her inspirational articles have also been included in forty
books written either in English or in German. Her book titles include:
Lead, Kindly Light, Treasures of Darkness, He Raised
Me Up To Stand On Mountains, and Prayer: When Answers Aren’t
Enough. She is a regular contributor to Daily Guideposts and
Power To Change.
Her purpose in life is beautifully expressed in the following poem:
I will remember that today is a grace day.
Great Riches At Christ’s Expense are mine.
I will immerse myself in the ocean of His grace;
I will feed on promises of His grace.
I will be a grace-giver in prayer
And in my walk and talk
I will bless someone with grace today.
